It’s 8:40am on Christmas morning, and we’ve got the AC on. Why? Because it’s already 73°F outside!

To top it off, it was only 68°F last night, then it rained, then it got warmer, and now it’s 73°F and very, very humid. I don’t think anyone should be sticky on Christmas morning.

Unless, of course, your Christmas present is a very hot woman wearing nothing but a red ribbon. But, then again, a shower would get rid of that kind of sticky.

I’ve made several improvements over the previous version.

1. Sorted smileys. Most used smileys are at the top. Other smileys sorted by category.
2. Additional smileys. Smiley count increased from 186 to 202!
3. Improved smileys. I’ve replaced the smileys with higher quality versions!

The poll is still open, so get your vote in for the next version of TSE. I’m still working on adding a new CTI interface for comments, as well as the ability to add custom smiley sets.

So… I updated to WordPress 2.7 when it came out and it left my site in maintenance mode!!!

Unfortunately, since I’m always logged in, I was always able to see that the site was up. Even though it wasn’t up for the public.

Apologies to everyone who was unable to access whatever you were looking for here. I’ll try to make sure to check that the site is open to the public if another update comes out.

I’m still working on the new version, which will definitely have the following updates:

1. Sorted smileys.
2. At least 12 new smileys!

The new version is due sometime this weekend, but it may be slightly delayed if I get some suggestions before then. I’m still working on a new CTI interface for comments, but I’m open to suggestions as to what people would like this new selectable interface to be. I’m going to continue to include the current CTI interface as the default. Suggestions can be made by answering the poll here and commenting on the poll post, please.
