It has come to my attention that I work at a movie theatre. Oddly, I never knew this, and didn’t find out until the 20^th person told me this week. I always wondered why my hands smelled like film lube and my clothes smelled like popcorn!

I’ve always been discouraged from writing movie reviews, partly because the studios get angry when you bash their films and your job is to promote them, but mostly because I hate movie critics and writing a movie review would put me one step closer to being a movie critic. However, it just makes sense for me to write openly and honestly about what I think of the movies I have watched, since that is the subject closest to me.

My reviews are not going to always follow the same format, so don’t read them if you’re looking for the unbiased thoughts of an automaton. I am human, and I am prone to the biased thoughts that come from being human. If I say I like a movie and you see it and don’t like the movie, do not come back and bitch at me. I liked it because I liked it, and you didn’t like it because you didn’t like it. Period. The same goes for movies that I say I didn’t like. If you liked a movie that I didn’t, then good for you. I’m not up to argue the finer points of a movie that I found to be garbage.

With that being said, my first review coming up will be for the Overture Films movie Traitor .
