It has been a very long weekend, so I have more stuff to unleash in post fashion for those willing to read.

  1. Green somethings are present in Cream Cheese & Chives Lance crackers, however, they do not have chives in the ingredients, nor is there a listing for coloring of any kind. What is the green stuff? Question
  2. Why is payday always one day later than the last debit on your account, which results in a $34 fee from the bank for insufficient funds?
  3. I need new shoes. I remember buying these Sketchers a little over a year ago, but they were a size too small and were not comfortable. I didn’t have a choice, because none of the shoe stores around here sell my size. My feet are poking out of the sides of the shoe, now, but what are the odds I will be able to find a shoe that fits me? I wear a US size 13EEEE. My Sketchers are size 12EE. I need new shoes.
  4. I’ve been trying out Windows 7, and I have to say I am not impressed. They should just call it what it is: Vista Redux. Disdain
  5. The end-of-year paperwork and inventory sheet for the theatre has a line for the quantity and condition of “vacume cleaners.” Rolls Eyes
  6. I saw a commercial for Barack Obama Kennedy Half-Dollars, now on sale to the public for $9.95 each. Who has the money to buy money that is worth less money than the money they are spending? Most of the “money” being sold isn’t legal tender in the US anyway. Idiots. Money Mouth
  7. My best investment of 2008 was a tea maker that I bought at the beginning of December at Walmart for $15. I’ve discovered that loose tea costs more per serving than bagged tea, and cutting the tea bags and brewing the tea through a coffee filter, much as you could do with loose tea, makes a much better tasting tea. I’ve also discovered that green tea is not easily purchased in bulk, and the number of flavors of green tea makes it very difficult to find plain green tea. It has also become apparent that there is never enough sugar in the house, and you don’t realize this until you have already brewed a full 3-quart pitcher.
  8. Walmart bakery bread goes moldy three days after opening the package, but stays mold-free for up to 12 days if you just don’t open it. When you finally open it on day 11, it is fully covered in mold on the morning of day 12.
  9. No matter how tired I am, I will always convince myself that I am not too tired to write one more line of code.
  10. I just realized that I have not updated the TSE homepage to reflect the changes made in the current version. I should do that now! Bye
