MTV and Harmonix have sealed the deal in creating a “Rock Band” style game featuring the Beatles. While the game will not be called Rock Band, it will work with the existing instruments. It won’t contain all of the Beatles songs, however,  but it will sample from the entire discography from Please Please Me through Let It Be. It will also mark the first time the Beatles go digital – legitimately. All I can say is good luck trying to play While My Guitar Gently Weeps on hard! George Harrison and Eric Clapton have set the bar impossibly high.

I’m a Beatles freak. You can blame it on my high school band instructor and his Magical Mystery Tour set we played for my first year in band. I’ve stumbled upon a super talented ukulele player and his ukulele rendition of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and I was awestruck. Check it out below.
